Prairie Brewfest this year moves to Purgatory Creek Park in Eden Prairie.

Ticket sales are underway for 2016 Prairie Brewfest, and we’ve got a new venue. The craft-beer sampling event organized by the Eden Prairie Community Foundation will be held at the beautiful Purgatory Creek Park, at the corner of Technology and Prairie Center drives in Eden Prairie.

Prairie Brewfest will be held 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, and the great features of the past two years will return: beer and cider samples from more than a dozen area craft brewers, live music, games, and other activities. There’ll also be wine from Parley Lake Winery, and you can purchase food from the New Bohemia Food Truck.

August Schell Brewing, Bauhaus Brew Labs, Blue Moon Brewing, Burning Brothers Brewing, Castle Danger Brewery, Enki Brewing, Excelsior Brewing, Indeed Brewing, Lake Monster Brewing, Leinenkugel’s, LTD Brewing, Lupulin Brewing, Mankato Brewery, Surly Brewing, and Lionheart Cider have committed to participating in the event.

We’re also pleased to announce that we are partnering with the City of Eden Prairie and Eden Prairie Liquor on this event. Thank-you to our sponsors: Kraus-Anderson Realty Company, Carlston Developments/MartinBlue Apartment Living, JMS Custom Homes, Southwest Station Condominiums, J.A. Price Agency, SRF Consulting, Lyndon Moquist/Edina Realty, Star Bank – Eden Prairie, Flagship Bank, Bachman’s, Liberty Property Trust, Xcel Energy, Cushman & Wakefield, and Anchor Bank.

We’ve dropped the price of our admission! Tickets will be $30 each, in advance of the event, and $35 each on Sept. 10, the day of the event. (Of that, $15 is tax-deductible.) Tickets are available for purchase on this website. You can also buy a ticket at Kowalski’s Market in Eden Prairie or any Eden Prairie Liquor store. Or, for more information contact the Eden Prairie Community Foundation’s executive director, Mark Weber, by calling (952) 949-8499 or e-mailing

Please note: This event is for those age 21 and older.
