A beautiful September day greeted 2016 Prairie Brewfest attendees.

A big thank-you to everyone who attended and supported the Prairie Brewfest craft-beer festival held 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Purgatory Creek Park in Eden Prairie.

It was mostly sunny and 70 degrees as we enjoyed samples of craft beer, cider, and wine while listening to live music from Dave Lindahl and Wondercure, our “house band.” Many of you enjoyed pretzels and/or brats from the New Bohemia Food Truck.

We had 503 ticket holders, making this our biggest Brewfest ever. Last year we had about 370 ticket holders.

So, a big thank-you to attendees, sponsors, brewers, and volunteers. You put the “fun” in fundraising!

Our brewers were: August Schell Brewing, Bauhaus Brew Labs, Blue Moon Brewing, Burning Brothers Brewing, Castle Danger Brewery, Enki Brewing, Excelsior Brewing, Indeed Brewing, Lake Monster Brewing, Leinenkugel’s, LTD Brewing, Lupulin Brewing, Mankato Brewery, Surly Brewing, and Lionheart Cider.

Big thanks to our partners, the City of Eden Prairie, Eden Prairie Liquor, and Kowalski’s Market. Thank-you especially to our sponsors: Kraus-Anderson Realty Company, Carlston Developments/MartinBlue Apartment Living, JMS Custom Homes, Tavern 4 & 5, Southwest Station Condominiums, J.A. Price Agency, SRF Consulting, Lyndon Moquist/Edina Realty, Star Bank – Eden Prairie, Flagship Bank, Bachman’s, Liberty Property Trust, Xcel Energy, Cushman & Wakefield, and Anchor Bank.
